Park City is located 32 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. What Is the Best Time to Visit Park City?

In January, the resort area plays host to the Sundance Film Festival. For summer activities, such as hiking, fly fishing, hot air ballooning and rafting, the best time to visit is between mid-June and early September. Although autumn is beautiful in Park City, snow can come as late as Memorial Day and as early as Labor Day in the higher elevations.

Park City is located about 35 miles away from Salt Lake City International Airport. More than 800 flights fly in and out of this airport daily, with non-stop service to Los Angeles, New York City, Miami and Boston.
