Welcome to Villa Amarilla (villa code: AXA AMA), a luxurious 5-bedroom villa on Anguilla’s northeastern coast near Shoal bay beach. With expansive indoor and outdoor living areas and mesmerizing ocean views, you’d be forgiven for wanting to stay here forever.

Spread over 9,000 square feet, this property boasts an incredible amount of space both indoors and out. The design mixes Caribbean-chic with dreamy Italian accents, all done by Anguilla’s own acclaimed architect, Carl Richards. Inside, hints of Moroccan flair complement Amarilla Villa’s cool island furnishings.

Overlooking some of Anguilla’s most beautiful reefs, you could spend all day watching the waves wash against the rocks, changing color from iridescent aqua to deep hues of sapphire. If the open water calls, Shoal Bay Beach with its many restaurants is only a 5-minute walk away.

Living Spaces: The breathtaking views are visible even before you enter Amarilla Villa. The blue floor of the entry hall blends with the sea beyond, and the unique seashell chandelier adds an elegant touch.

As you step further inside, you’ll arrive in the open-plan living room with two comfortable seating areas. One is for relaxing in front of the flat-screen television, the other ideal for conversations and late-night card games. Both enjoy incredible views over the ocean. For movie nights, a separate media room has a 60” flat-screen TV, surround sound, and an extensive movie library.

Kitchen and Dining Room: The modern kitchen at Villa Amarilla is equipped with everything you’ll need to whip up meals during your stay. Our concierge can even organize grocery pre-stocking or delivery, catered meals, or arrange a private chef service for a special occasion.

An indoor bar lets you shake up your own feisty rum punch before dinner, best enjoyed as you watch the spectacular sunset over the ocean. For dinner parties with your group, the custom dining table is a magnificent setting. Otherwise, why not host an evening outside? Here you’ll find another dining table, a bar, and a barbecue grill, all with spectacular views.

Bedrooms: There are 5 bedrooms at Amarilla Villa in Anguilla, spread across the home to provide privacy for guests. Each comes with breathtaking ocean views, a flat-screen TV, and soft Sferra linens. Every night, the sounds of the tide washing against the rocks will lull you into a deep and peaceful sleep.

Downstairs, a master suite is spacious and soothing, furnished with a king-sized bed and elegant Scalamandre window treatments. The Moroccan-influenced ensuite features indoor and outdoor showers and a his-and-her vanity.

The upstairs master bedrooms (east and west) differ from the downstairs master only in their selection of fabrics (including Kravet, Clarence House, and Old World Weavers) and bathroom tiles.

The fourth and fifth bedrooms can be configured to either have a pair of twin beds or a king. These rooms are also spacious and elegant, with their own ensuite bathrooms. All four upstairs bedrooms open onto a balcony facing the east, letting you wake up each morning to the island sunrise.

Outdoor Features: The outdoor living areas at Villa Amarilla are sublime. There’s space to come together with friends and family, and plenty of cozy nooks to curl up with some peace, quiet, and a good book.

The grand covered terrace is furnished with soft lounges and armchairs, great spots for a morning coffee or sunset cocktail. The fresh breezes blow in off the ocean keep things nice and cool.

The spectacular swimming pool is the star of the show, with an infinity edge stretching towards the terrace edge. From the water, you can enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views over the ocean, nearby Scrub Island, and the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach. Sunbeds lining the water also encourage you to bask in the island sun.

For days at the beach, Shoal Bay Beach is just a short drive away – or a 5-minute walk. With powder-white sand and crystalline waters, it’s the definition of a Caribbean dream. Also nearby is the secluded Island Harbour Beach.
