National Heroes And Heroines Day: December 19, 2019

On the Caribbean island of Anguilla, National Heroes and Heroines Day is a public holiday kept on every 19 December. It is one of the most celebrated of all holidays on the calendar in Anguilla, and is dedicated to the memory of all the men and women in the history of the country whose heroic acts and lives made Anguilla a better place to live.

Anguilla Annual Flower Show: February, 2020

Celebrate the beauty of Anguilla and a bounty of fresh flower arrangements, native plant arrangements, orchid displays, needlework and art from the local youth school.

St. Gerard's Annual Garden Party: February, 2020

This annual party is held at the historic St. Gerard's Catholic Church and the Wallblake House. There are traditional foods prepared by the congregation, local music, and dancing.

James Ronald Webster Day: March 2, 2020

The Father of the Nation, James Ronald Webster, was awarded a public holiday on his birthday for his role in leading Anguilla's seperation from the Federation of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla. Celebrate independence with the locals all day.

Festival Del Mar: April 11-12, 2020

This seafood festival is one of the biggest held in the Caribbean! Every year this festival is held at Island Harbor during Easter Weekend and promotes seafood and fun. There is also a day full of water activities including boat races, swimming and live music.

May 2020 Anguilla Events


Anguilla Day: May 30, 2020

Anguilla Day is an excellent time to visit the island. It is a day of joyful celebration for our people, but also for visitors. Contagious happiness permeates all. Every year the festivities kick off with one of Anguilla's most exciting boatraces, the Round-the-Island race, which begins at Sandy Ground at approximately 9 am ... a sight to behold as white sails take to the sea and “land racers” follow them by car and radio until they reach Sandy Ground in the late afternoon.

Anguilla Regatta: May 15-17, 2020

The Anguilla Regatta is famous for exciting courses and testing wind conditions, usually within the 13 – 18 knot range. Together with unpredictable wind shifts around offshore cays and marks, this makes for an exhilarating race experience. An additional unusual flavour to the Regatta is the participation of Anguilla's local boats — a unique cultural landmark representing the history and development of this island.

Celebration Of The Birthday Of Her Majesty The Queen: June 8,2020

All uniformed organizations parade at James Ronald Webster Park for the celebration of the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. Cocktails are served in the evening at Government House to invited guests.

Queen's Birthday Boat Race (Class A): June 8,2020

The annual Queen's Birthday Boat Race commemorates the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. It is the only boat race held on Crocus Bay for the season.

August 2020 Anguilla Events


Anguilla Summer Festival: August 2-9, 2020

Eleven days of celebration featuring musical performances, parades, pageants and other exciting festivities.

Constitution Day: August 7, 2020

Every Constitution Day, a "Grand Parade of Troupes" is held where colorfully clad costume-wearers from all over the island gather to parade and display the local culture. This follows on the heels of Anguilla's summer festivals, and is a major local and international event.
