As soon as you step inside Villa Amalie, it’s love at first sight. This stylish villa blends a striking Scandinavian design aesthetic with rustic island elegance. Black and white hues contrast with rattan textures, weathered wood, and plenty of house plants, with artwork on the walls, weathered antique cabinets and tables, and unique décor.

You’ll never tire of admiring the chic style of Villa Amalie, but just as alluring are the wonderful views over Marigot Bay. The verdant green hills roll down to meet the sparkling sea, with Turtle Island offshore glowing in the Caribbean sun. Both Marigot and Lorient beaches are a 5-minute drive, while Gustavia is 10 minutes by car.

Living Spaces: Spread over three levels, Villa Amalie enjoys a splendid blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Stairs lead between all the levels, with the upper-level home to the main great room, combining the living area, dining room, and kitchen. All rooms on this level open to a covered balcony overlooking the pool area and views.

The living room is bright and airy, with an eclectic décor adorning the antique furnishings. Soft sofas with patterned throws provide comfortable spots to kick back, with a flat-screen TV for movies. It’s also a great room for morning coffees and conversation, enjoying some quality time with family and friends.

Kitchen and Dining Room: At the other end of the interconnected great room is the kitchen. One wall is covered with framed pictures, a striking design touch that makes this place feel like home. Between the living room and kitchen is Villa Amalie’s dining room table, a beautiful setting to gather for a meal. There are plants on both sides, with a feature wall of woven hats adding a rustic, down-to-earth touch.

Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms in this expansive villa, both with plenty of graceful style and decor. Quiet, relaxed, and gorgeous, you’ll wake up each day refreshed and ready to explore the best of St. Barts.

On the middle level of Villa Amalie is the master bedroom, tastefully decorated in black and white tones. The bedroom offers a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. A private terrace surrounded by lush island ferns conceals a Jacuzzi, a luxurious spot to toast to your island vacation.

Descending one more level brings you to the second bedroom. Also decorated in striking black and white, this room has a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, and a private terrace with ocean views.

Outdoor Features: With outdoor living spaces on the two upper levels, there’s plenty of space at Villa Amalie to entertain guests. Stretching the width of the upper-level great room, a covered balcony enjoys plenty of seating for kicking back with a cool drink and gazing out at the Caribbean.

Also on the upper level is a separate gazebo, with another indoor lounge area open to the ocean views. The middle level is home to the inviting pool, surrounded by loungers for sunbathing, and a daybed underneath another gazebo, an ideal spot to read a good book or nap in the shade.
