Welcome to Villa Anakao (villa code: WV MBL), a charming 2 + 1-bedroom villa located in St. Jean. Featuring wonderful views over the island and the sparkling Caribbean, this luxurious St. Barts villa sits within minutes of two beaches, shopping, and world-class restaurants.

There’s a wistful elegance to Villa Anakao that makes it stand out from other villas in St. Barts. A distinctive Asian style influences the design and décor, with exotic wooden furnishings and minimalist, pared-back décor. Sliding screen doors add another touch of the Oriental, creating a peaceful home that’s effortlessly stylish.

With a fabulous location in the hills behind St. Jean, Villa Anakao puts guests in the middle of the natural beauty of St. Barts. The pristine beach at St. Jean is a 5-minute drive, and within easy distance are the beaches at Lorient and Gouverneur. Gustavia is also 5 minutes away by car.

Living Spaces: The simple layout of Villa Anakao embraces the best of Caribbean design. An open-plan great room with a living area and kitchen opens to an expansive outdoor terrace, with terrific views over the Caribbean.

The living room is spacious and breezy, with shelves of exotic wood holding books, unique lamps, and the Oriental décor. Soft sofas invite you to sink in and unwind, perhaps enjoying a cool drink while gazing out at the views or watching a movie on the TV.

Kitchen and Dining Room: At the other end of the great room is Villa Anakao’s well-equipped kitchen. Modern appliances make cooking a breeze, while the white cabinetry contrasts with the exotic masks that hang on the wall.

On the covered terrace, the dining table has seating for up to six guests. It’s a wonderful setting for meals with family and friends, enjoying the cooling breeze and ocean views with some fantastic food.

Bedrooms: There are 2 bedrooms inside Villa Anakao, cozy and quiet places to unwind at the end of each day. An optional third bedroom is also available.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and an ensuite bathroom, and opens onto the terrace and the pool. The second bedroom is located at the entrance and has a king-sized bed and a separate bathroom. This bedroom does not have a view.

An optional third bedroom is located off the mezzanine and perfectly set up for children. This bedroom is available for an additional weekly fee.

Outdoor Features: The terrace opens to the countryside view and surrounds the pool, which is heated in the winter so you can enjoy the pool year-round. Loungers for sunbathing are nestled in the corner of the terrace, offering prime spots to read a book, looking up now and then to admire the sparkling Caribbean.

If things are too warm, a covered terrace wraps around the home and offers several spots to kick back with a drink. A lounge area here is a wonderful spot to host a cocktail hour, enjoying a pre-dinner drink while the sunset unfolds across the sky.

And when it comes time to enjoy some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, the beaches at St. Jean and Lorient are a 5-minute drive.

Amenities: Villa Anakao has a range of high-end amenities to help enhance your stay in the Caribbean. This St. Barts villa also has Wi-Fi, French, and U.S. satellite channels, and a Sonos sound system.

During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
