Nestled in the green hills just outside St. Jean, Villa Angelique enjoys an enviable location within easy distance of beaches, shops, and restaurants. The pristine shores of St. Jean and Lorient are both a 5-minute drive, while the restaurants of Gustavia are 10 minutes by car.
Living Spaces: Spread over the main pavilion and several bedroom cottages, Villa Angelique is a graceful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. The main house stretches the length of the terrace, a design that makes it so you can enjoy the wonderful views from every space.
An airy and open-plan great room has the living room and kitchen. A Sonos sound system lets you soundtrack your day, whether you’re relaxing on the large and comfortable sofa or preparing a meal in the kitchen.
Kitchen and Dining Room: Villa Angelique’s kitchen space is a dream for foodie travelers, with a range of chef-level appliances that can handle any culinary challenge. Airy, bright, and contemporary, you’ll love preparing meals here.
A large kitchen island extends to become the dining table, with seating for six guests. It’s a great spot to enjoy an evening aperitif and keep the conversation going while you prepare an evening meal. Otherwise, why not mix yourself up a cocktail and let our concierge arrange a private chef for an evening?
Bedrooms: After a long day exploring St. Barts or lounging by the pool, the 4 bedrooms at Villa Angelique act as idyllic retreats to relax and unwind. Each features a striking black and white décor, touched with exotic woods for a blissful island vibe.
There are two bedrooms connected to the main house, although accessed from the outdoor terrace. The third bedroom is in a separate cottage opposite the first two bedrooms.
Ascending a flight of stairs takes you to the top level, where the master bedroom sits. All four bedrooms are spacious and bright, with air-conditioning, queen-sized beds, and flat-screen TVs with U.S. satellite channels and Blu-Ray players. Each also has a luxurious ensuite.
Outdoor Features: Stretching the length of Villa Angelique is the beautiful outdoor terrace. The clean and contemporary design is pleasing to the eye, leading you between sun and shade to several different areas.
A long swimming pool is tempting for a dip, with loungers letting you sunbathe or read in the warm island weather. At one end elevated over the water, a dining table underneath a gazebo is a wonderful spot for an evening meal, with a grill on the other side for island-style cookouts.
Outdoor speakers also let you listen to music during your day; otherwise, the sound of the breeze rustling through the palms is enough to help you relax with a cool drink, gazing out at the ocean.
An air-conditioned fitness room with a stationary bike and free weights offers an ideal spot for working out. With advance notice, the pool fence can be removed. A signed waiver will be required if the family is traveling with children.
