Castaway to Villa Golden View (villa code: WV GDV), an absolutely stunning 2-bedroom villa in Vitet, St. Barts. This island home enjoys compelling views across the island landscape, taking in the sparkling Caribbean and offshore islands to the northwest across Lorient Bay.

Villa Golden View without a doubt lives up to its name. The minimalist interiors are stylish and chic but serve to enhance the terrific views framed by the large windows and doors. Unobtrusive, uncluttered, and laid-back, it’s a fabulous place to create some island memories.

Nestled in the hills of the western part of Vitet, Villa Golden View sits high above Lorient Bay. The views take in half of St. Barts, and on a clear day, you’ll be able to see St. Martin and Anguilla. Beautiful, landscaped gardens surround the home, which is ideal for families with children or two couples vacationing together. The beach is a 5-minute drive.

Living Spaces: The spacious interior is modern in decor, with a sleek and open-plan great room. This space is home to the living room and kitchen, with large doors sliding open to the terrace and those alluring views.  

The living room features a leather sectional sofa and a well-equipped media center, a great spot for your group to gather and relax. The entertainment center has both U.S. satellite channels and access to Apple TV, and a Sonos sound system as well. Movie nights here are incredible.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Behind the living room is the sleek kitchen, with modern white cabinetry and matte-black countertops. A large breakfast bar doubles as a great spot for your group to enjoy some social time while the foodie in your group prepares dinner. Our concierge would also be happy to organize a private chef for an evening.

When it’s time to dine, whisking your plates outside to the dining table lets you enjoy your meal while immersed in the natural beauty of this tropical paradise. Everything tastes better when you’re gazing out at the Caribbean and the gentle undulating hills of St. Barts between the crescent bays.

Bedrooms: After a long day lounging on the beach or exploring the coast, relaxing in one of the 2 bedrooms inside Golden View is incredible. Both bedrooms have European king-sized beds, a TV, and ensuite bathrooms with luxurious rain-head showers.

The first bedroom is off the living room, with access to the terrace via the large sliding glass doors, allowing you to take in the view even from the bed. The second bedroom is on the second level, accessed by the interior staircase, and has a small private terrace with seating.

Outdoor Features: The heated infinity pool is set on the main terrace, which is complete with loungers both in sun and shade, along with two outdoor dining tables.

As the afternoon starts to fade, kicking back to watch the stunning island sunset with a drink in hand is recommended. Golden light glows in the blue waters and illuminates the detail in the offshore islands.

It’s these same views that will coax you outside of Villa Golden View to explore the island. A short drive away is Lorient Beach, a picture-perfect sweep of sand and crystalline waters. Several other pristine beaches are also within an easy drive – in fact, the whole island is ripe for exploring during your stay.

During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
