From its hillside perch, Villa Marie is all about embracing the good life on St. Barts. The graceful interiors feature beautiful art on the walls, warm wood tones, and boho-chic furnishings. The property embraces its surroundings, using the natural beauty of St. Barts as inspiration for its harmonious design. From the villa, you’ll see the islands of St Martin and Anguilla in the distance, and you’ll have a direct view of the sunset.
Located at the end of a quiet road, Villa Marie feels like a private retreat. You’ll hear nothing but the rustle of palms and the waves washing against the shore of Lorient Beach far below. The beach is just a short drive away, and the shops and restaurants in St Jean are less than 10 minutes away.
Living Spaces: Inside, the living, dining, and cooking areas seamlessly blend together in an elegant open-plan design. Large windows also blur the line between indoors and out, bathing the entire property in natural light and cooling sea breezes.
The living room is a comfortable spot to unwind, opening on both sides to the wrap-around sun terrace. You can relax in the comfortable lounge, enjoy a film on TV, or gaze out at the fabulous ocean views.
Kitchen and Dining Room: Connected to the living room is Marie Villa’s cozy, well-equipped kitchen. You’ll have everything you need to create gourmet meals to share with family and friends. Our concierge can even organize grocery pre-stocking or delivery, catered meals, or arrange private chef service for a special occasion.
A wooden table in the kitchen is ideal for an early breakfast before heading outside to explore. The elegant dining table is more suited to formal dinners, with seating for up to 6 guests next to the living room.
Bedrooms: There are 2 bedrooms at Villa Marie, each offering every comfort and the utmost privacy. Both come with a luxurious king-sized bed and splendid views over the ocean.
The first bedroom is behind the kitchen, with a spacious bathroom and a private dressing area. The master bedroom is in front of the pool on the lower level. This room has a TV, a dressing area, an ensuite bathroom, and a shower that opens to the outside.
The master bedroom also has a small kitchenette, which can serve as an auxiliary kitchen for the pool area.
Outdoor Features: A spacious sundeck wraps around both sides of the living area, with plenty of spots to enjoy the Caribbean sun. In the back is a tropical garden, filled with colorful orchids and a comfortable seating area. Nestled between the trees, it’s a quiet and peaceful setting to enjoy a cool drink or dive into a good book.
On the other side of the sundeck, a lounge area has stunning views over the ocean and islands of Île Frégate, Île Bonhomme, and Saint Martin. The sunset vistas from here are incredible, and best enjoyed with cocktails in hand.
Steps lead down to a lower-level deck, where loungers, a sunbed, and a large parasol surround the inviting infinity pool. We wouldn’t blame you for lounging here all day, getting swept away by the fine weather and cool breezes.
Lorient Bay Beach is a 5-minute drive away, offering soft sand for sunbathing and tranquil waters for swimming and snorkeling. Five minutes in the other direction is the quiet and secluded Marigot Bay Beach.
Amenities: Thoughtful design and world-class amenities make your stay at Villa Marie as comfortable as it can be. This property also features high-speed Wi-Fi, a gas grill, air-conditioning, and French and U.S. satellite TV channels.
During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
