Castaway to Villa Rivendell (villa code: WV RIV), a 3-bedroom villa located in the hills above Flamands bay on St. Barts.

Overlooking the lush, tropical hillside and Flamands Bay, several beaches, and restaurants are all a short drive away.

The contemporary interiors at Rivendell Villa are dazzling in white, with touches of reclaimed wood adding a rustic touch. Refined and elegant, the open-concept design is stylish and comfortable. Views from the spacious living areas overlook the glimmering Caribbean and offshore islands Île Frégate and Île Bonhomme.

Flamands Beach is just a short drive down the hill, as are the beaches at Anse des Cayes and Corossol. Elegant restaurants and shopping are a 5-minute drive away in St-Jean. As an added bonus, an excellent patisserie and restaurant are within walking distance of the villa.

Living Spaces: The main living area is open and airy, with touches of seascape artwork and modern furnishings. Home to the living area and kitchen, the entire space opens to the outdoor hardwood terrace, letting you enjoy the island breeze.

A large, L-shaped sofa is soft and inviting, ideal for collapsing on after a long day at the beach. A flat-screen TV also lets you enjoy some downtime with a good movie or your favorite TV series.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Next to the living room is Villa Rivendell’s well-equipped kitchen. With the latest appliances, cooking here is a breeze. Our concierge can organize grocery pre-stocking or delivery, catered meals, or even arrange a private chef service for a special occasion.

The kitchen features a long, pass-through window that connects with the outdoor dining area. Covered by an awning, the table has seating for 6 guests, and is a fabulous setting for meals in the warm evening air.

Bedrooms: There are 3 bedrooms at Villa Rivendell, each with minimalist furnishings and colorful ocean-themed artwork. The bedrooms come with air-conditioning, a spacious ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the terrace. Screened windows let you fall asleep to the cool island breeze each evening.

The master bedroom off the living room features a plush queen-sized bed. The other two bedrooms are in a separate bungalow, accessed via the outdoor terrace. One has a queen-sized bed, while the other has a pair of twin beds (which can be configured as a king).

Outdoor Features: The layout of Villa Rivendell flows easily from the inside to the generous outdoor terrace. A lounge area and sunbeds on the covered terrace are great spots to enjoy a cool drink while admiring the undulating tropical hills of St. Barts.

Steps lead down to the terrace’s lower level, where the hardwood deck continues around the heated infinity pool. Sparkling in the Caribbean sun, it will no doubt tempt you in for a swim each day. Loungers lining the pool are fantastic spots for basking in the island rays.

Villa Rivendell also comes equipped with a gas grill, an ideal way to enjoy some fresh fish or a succulent steak. Island-style cookouts are a great way to enjoy the gorgeous Caribbean evenings.

Flamands Beach is under 4 minutes away by car, where striking turquoise waters lap at the golden shore. The swimming and sunbathing here are excellent. When you work up an appetite, there are also several restaurants to choose from as well. The beaches at St Jean and Anse des Cayes are both a 2-minute drive away.

Restaurants and shopping are available in St-Jean, 5 minutes away by car. The capital, Gustavia, is a 10-minute drive.
