Welcome to Villa Romana (villa code: WV RIG), a contemporary 4-bedroom villa located in St. Jean within minutes of the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Offering terrific ocean views, an abundance of living space, and a tranquil atmosphere, this is one of the most coveted villas on St. Barts.

Villa Romana impresses as soon as you step inside, offering calming hues of white contrasted by sea blue and green. Soaring ceilings make each space even brighter, with dappled island sunlight leading you from room to room throughout the flowing, open-plan layout. Completing the home is a range of high-end and luxurious furnishings.

Nestled in the hillside above St. Jean, Villa Romana enjoys breathtaking vistas of the bay below. The water glints in the island light, and the surrounding coast is dotted with the red roofs of the town. Everything is a 5-minute drive from here, including shops, restaurants, and the pristine beach below.

Living Spaces: Villa Romana is spread across three different pavilions. At the heart of the home is the uniquely shaped great room, combining the living room, dining area, and kitchen into one.

The living room faces the ocean, featuring a wall of windows to take advantage of the view. There are comfortable white sofas and armchairs for sinking in, relaxing, and forgetting the rushes of modern life, enjoying incredible vistas over the hills and ocean.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Behind the living room, Villa Romana’s modern kitchen delves into a corner. High-end appliances make it easy to prepare a gourmet meal here, and the bar-style seating at the breakfast counter is ideal for a pre-dinner cocktail, letting you keep the chef in your group company while they cook.

If you’d prefer, our concierge is also happy to arrange for a private chef to visit you in the villa, whipping up a gourmet feast for you to enjoy. When it comes to dining, there’s a table inside for formal meals and an alfresco dining table outside for immersive views of the ocean.

Bedrooms: To the right of the great room, a separate pavilion is where you’ll find 3 out of the 4 bedrooms at Villa Romana. In this space, there are two bedrooms with a king-sized bed and one with a queen. All three open to the outdoor terrace, with views of the lush tropical hills through the doors.

The fourth bedroom is on a lower level, accessed via a staircase by the swimming pool. This room is ideal for those who are after a bit more privacy; it features a king-sized bed and incredible views over St. Jean below.

Outdoor Features: Back on the upper level, relaxing days spent lounging around outside are made all the better thanks to the wonderful outdoor living spaces at Villa Romana. The expansive deck is an ideal place to sunbathe on loungers or relax in the shade under the portico.

At the center of it all, the swimming pool offers a quick and easy way to cool off in the island heat. The infinity edge stretches to the edge of the terrace, from where you can enjoy those wonderful views. And as the sun goes down, why not fire up the gas grill for an island-style cookout? The rosy gold sunset makes for an excellent pairing to a Caribbean barbecue.

Villa Romana in St. Barts comes with a complimentary continental breakfast (during the Christmas/NY holiday period only). During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
