Open, bright, and flowing, Villa Xanadu is a little oasis in the middle of St. Jean. Despite the fantastic location, the home feels private and secluded, with a beautiful mix of indoor and outdoor space. Its contemporary spirit complements the home’s original character without overpowering it, creating a pleasant and chilled-out escape for sophisticated island travelers.
With St. Jean Beach at your doorstep, the location of Villa Xanadu is also hard to beat. Within a 5-minute drive, you can also be lounging on the sands at Lorient Beach, while 10 minutes in the other direction brings you to the world-class drinking and dining scene in Gustavia.
Living Spaces: Villa Xanadu is spread over three separate bungalows, blending its interiors with the beautiful outdoor spaces. At every turn, an open door beckons you outside, with either a beautiful island garden or a glimpse of the shimmering Caribbean.
One of the bungalows is home to an air-conditioned living room, with a comfortable sofa, views of the pool, and a large TV. It’s a great spot for some time spent inside, unwinding on the sofas.
A separate TV room in bold yellow is ideal for family movie nights, with another large flat-screen TV and a comfortable sofa. Tribal patterns in tapestries adorn the walls, adding an exotic touch to the space.
Kitchen and Dining Room: Another bungalow is home to the kitchen, with partial views of the bay. High-end appliances make cooking here easy, while at the far end of the space is a built-in charcoal grill for island-style cookouts.
A large pass-through window also makes it easy to entertain, passing out dishes to the outdoor dining table on the covered terrace. There’s seating for six here right next to the pool.
Bedrooms: There are 4 bedrooms at Villa Xanadu, spread across the bungalows to ensure privacy between guests. It’s equally suited for families with children or several couples vacationing together in the Caribbean.
An open staircase in the living room leads to the large master bedroom, featuring a plush king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. This spacious room enjoys beautiful, vaulted ceilings and elegant hardwood floors underfoot.
Adjoining the living room are two guest bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms with a shower. One enjoys direct access to the pool terrace, while the other opens to a quiet side terrace with seating.
The fourth bedroom is in another bungalow, next to the dedicated TV room. This space has a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom.
Outdoor Features: The main outdoor living areas at Villa Xanadu are wonderful for gathering with family and friends, and spending your time enjoying the warm weather and beautiful space. The main area is the pool terrace, where loungers line the water and the views over St. Jean are incredible.
Sunbathing, reading, or dropping off for a snooze are all options here. A decadent outdoor daybed is a lovely spot to kick back, enjoying the cool breezes washing through the palm trees and ferns that border the terrace.
Amenities: Villa Xanadu enjoys a range of amenities that enhance your stay in the Caribbean. This St. Barts villa also comes with fast Wi-Fi, U.S. satellite TV, and an outdoor shower.
During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
