A new sailing event is going to take place in the brilliant waters of an island known for great sailing and great sailing hospitality. St Maarten will host its first annual Caribbean Multihull Challenge.

Celebrated on Victor Schoelcher Day, honoring the abolitionist and parliamentarian who led the campaign against slavery. This festival includes religious and military ceremononies, canoe, boat and bicycle races and traditional games along with musicial entertainment
