Luxury Vacation Rentals & Villas in Greece
The turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea and the sun-kissed, white-washed buildings of the Greek Islands make Greece such a dream vacation destination. The Greek Islands are home to ancient Greek temples and ruins, hidden pocket beaches reachable only by boat, picturesque seaside villages where fishing boats bring the day’s catch directly to beachfront restaurants, and of course the turquoise Aegean Sea.
While Athens is the most visited destination, for those seeking a vacation in the Greek Isles, Santorini and Mykonos offer a diverse selection of luxury villa rentals, appropriate for any size group. On our website, you will find cozy villas for two with breath-taking views and private pools, ideal for honeymooners. We also offer larger homes suitable for family reunions or groups of friends traveling together, or anything in between.
Both Greek islands offer beautiful villas and luxury beach houses for rent that provide ample interior and exterior space for guests to spend time together. Most of these private villas are perched on sloped hillsides, with expensive views of the Aegean Sea. Many of our luxury villas in Greece also feature amenities like private swimming pools with spacious terraces, and hot tubs.
If you'd rather stay in a 5 star hotel, you'll find plenty of good options on both islands, all of which provide an array of exclusive services, well-appointed suites and the best of Greek cuisine.
Greek Villas With Private Pool
Renting a villa in Greece with its own pool provides the same level of luxury as staying in a resort suite, yet offers a more peaceful and secluded setting, and more of your own private space for gathering as a family or group. Imagine sitting poolside with the Aegean Sea in the background, relaxing after a full day of shopping, sunbathing or sightseeing.
A pool is not only fun for your kids, but it gives them a healthy way to get rid of that extra energy that kids still seem to have even after the busiest days. Your poolside terrace is a perfect place to gather for cocktails at sunset and celebrate another day in paradise.
Beachfront Villas and Beach House Rentals in Greece
Whether you're looking for seclusion or an action-packed vacation, a luxury villa provides an excellent base for your vacation, and there are many spectacular villas available for rent in Greece.
Imagine waking up viewing the beautiful contrast of Santorini's black lava sand against the sparkling blue of the Aegean Sea, or gazing over the picturesque buildings and waterfront cafes in Mykonos harbor.
Our Greek villa portfolio in Santorini and Mykonos features several villas with an authentic Greek vibe, many of which are just a few yards away from the beach.

5 Star Hotels and Luxury Resorts in Greece
Five-star resorts on Santorini and Mykonos islands each offer their own unique brand of luxury to guests. What they all have in common is their excellent service. You'll find small luxury hotels in the harbor village of Mykonos Town as well as scattered around the island in more remote locations.
Some of the best Mykonos 5 star hotels include Bill and Coo Suites, located along the shore just outside of town; the luxury resort collection of Santa Marina, with its dramatic views, secluded beach and well-appointed suites; and Kensho, with villas in both Ornos and Psarrou.
If you're looking for a hotel with high-end accommodations plus a full European spa and one of the best restaurants on the island, then Cavo Tagoo Resort is a great option on the western side of Mykonos. Closer to town, the Myrconian Korali Resort, part of the prestigious Relais et Chateaux collection of resorts, features unique villas, some of which have private hot tubs and/or plunge pools. All resort villas have dramatic views of the town and the sea beyond.
On Santorini, many of the resorts, like the Andronis Luxury Suites, Grace Santorini, and Katikies have magnificent cliff-side views of the sea. And Canaves Oia offers the view plus an excellent choice of restaurants. Another unique choice is Eros Santorini, which is perched at the edge of the Caldera, just outside of Oia, and has beautifully manicured gardens where you can relax and escape from the outside world. For a five-star Greek hotel with rejuvenating spa services, we recommend San Antonio in Santorini.
If you're staying a night or two in the Greek capital of Athens before you fly off to your island villa, we recommend the historic Grande Bretagne Hotel in the center of Athens or the King George Athens hotel just around the corner. For more modern, yet equally comfortable accommodations, we suggest the Electra Palace, with its views of the Acropolis, or the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, outside of town near the Aegean Sea.
Renting Luxury Villas or Staying in a Five-Star Hotel in Greece - Which One Is Right for You?
Choosing accommodation on the Greek islands can be a challenge. There are so many great resorts and villas to choose from. Villas are great for people looking for privacy and a more quiet place to relax or for larger groups where you want everyone to have their own space but share a common living area.
Luxury villas in Greece have many of the same services you'd find in a luxury resort. Many have private swimming pools, full kitchens, and sweeping views of the Aegean Sea. In some cases, you can even staff your villa with your personal chef and butler.
If you choose to stay in a 5-star hotel in Greece, you have various restaurants, spa services and bars just steps away from your suite. You'll also have housekeeping services, room service and laundry service, but there is less privacy.
Our experienced and personable staff at WIMCO Villas can help you decide which luxury accommodation on Santorini or Mykonos is best for your specific circumstance. We can help you create a custom-tailored vacation that you've always dreamed of.
Whatever that includes, perhaps an 80s disco party at your villa, a quiet beachside luncheon, or a renewal of your wedding vows in a quiet Orthodox chapel, we'll make it happen.
Which Are the Best Islands for a Luxury Vacation in Greece?
We like Santorini and Mykonos the best for luxury vacations in the Greek isles. Both are relatively uncrowded, have pedestrian friendly historic villages, and offer excellent beaches. Both islands also have a good variety of 5 star hotels and luxury villas for rent. Santorini offers dramatic views from the cliffside town of Oia. Mykonos is known for its many beaches, vibrant nightlife, and picturesque harbor village.
Where to Go in Greece for a Luxury Honeymoon?
Two of our favorite luxury honeymoon destinations are Mykonos and Santorini. There are secluded beaches, romantic waterfront eateries and places to dance the night away in each others' arms.
Of course, nothing said you have to spend your entire honeymoon on one island. Other lesser-known but great islands for honeymooners are Paros and Sifnos. So why not sample two or three Greek islands on your wedding trip? The professional and friendly staff at WIMCO can help you make all of the arrangements. All you have to do is show up.
When Is the Best Time to Visit Greece?
Greece is lovely year-round. However, the best weather for vacationing in Greece is between April and October. The peak season is between July and August. However, this is usually the hottest and the most crowded time of year to visit. We suggest visiting in the so-called “shoulder seasons” of June and September.
The average high temperature in Mykonos in June is 81 degrees Fahrenheit; in September, the average high temperature is 79 degrees Fahrenheit. In Athens, the average temperatures are 85 and 83 degrees Fahrenheit, respectively.
How to get to Greece?

From North America, there are non-stop flights to Athens from New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Montreal. Many of these flights only operate during part of the year.
