Villa Gaia, also known as BRV GAI, is an 16-bedroom villa in Tuscany, located only 10 minutes from Colle Val D'elsa. Owned for centuries by an Italian aristocratic family, this strikingly beautiful 4-story villa in the heart of Chianti enjoys spectacular gardens and breathtaking views of the countryside.

Villa BRV GAI dates back to 1400 and was restored in 1997. The estate comprises a 16,000-sq.-ft. main villa and a 4,800-sq.-ft. annex. The spacious living area features an arched ceiling with exposed brick, a fireplace, and cushioned seating. The media room offers a satellite TV and PlayStation video console. All of the common rooms are air-conditioned.

Each elegantly furnished bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, and a safe. This villa can be rented to accommodate 25 guests with 13 bedrooms or 31guests with 16 bedrooms. The 13-bedroom layout features a single bedroom, 2 bedrooms each furnished with twin beds, 7 bedrooms with queen-size beds, and 3 suites with queen-size beds (1 with a Jacuzzi bathtub).

The 18-bedroom layout offers a room with a single bed, 2 bedrooms each furnished with twin beds, 9 bedrooms with queen-size beds, 4 suites with queen-size beds (including 3 bedrooms with a Jacuzzi tub).

Villa BRV GAI offers multiple outdoor sitting and dining areas and a barbecue. Additional outdoor features include the tennis court, an infinity edge swimming pool and whirlpool area with sauna, changing rooms and bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. Six mountain bikes are available for exploring the property and surrounding countryside.

The house stocks a selection of Tuscan and Umbrian wines, which can be purchased upon request. This villa also comes with billiards, a helipad, fitness equipment, Internet access, iPod docking stations, satellite TV, and WiFi. The security deposit is €5,000. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
