Villa Controni, also known as CSL CON, is an 11-bedroom villa in Tuscany, located within 15 minutes of both Florence and Lucca and only 30 minutes from the airport in Pisa. Nestled below Monte Pisano on the southern outskirts of Lucca, this historic 19th century villa sits on a stunning estate with olive groves, elegant Italian gardens, and pine forest hilltops with castle ruins.

Panoramic views reach across Lucca and Nottolini’s aqueduct outside, while the interior is elegantly furnished. The 2 living rooms, the study area, billiards room, grand banquet room, and shady arched loggia offer ample areas to entertain. On the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen, which leads to a formal dining room and salon with sofas and armchairs facing a cozy fireplace.

Each spacious bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The first floor offers 6 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. A central salon with sofas, armchairs, and satellite TV offers a comfortable lounge area on this floor. The second floor houses 5 more bedrooms. Four bedrooms each have a king-size bed, while the fifth bedroom has a queen-size bed. A twelfth bedroom is available upon request.

A walled garden and lawn with loungers surrounds the floodlit swimming pool and summerhouse with workout room. This fully air-conditioned villa also comes with a barbecue, a wine cellar and tasting room, mountain bikes, a fax machine, and WiFi. A private chapel on the grounds is available for weddings or other special celebrations.

This rental requires a €4,000 security deposit, which is reimbursed after deducting any unpaid charges 14 days after the last day of visit. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only.

The holidays of Christmas, New Year’s and Easter are considered the high season.

Villa Controni, or CSL CON, has house cleaning services available during the week. Ask your villa specialist for details.

* Note - Cost of food and beverages: guests will be charged 12 euro per person for breakfast and 40 euro per person per meat menu meal and 45 euro per fish menu meal.

The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
