Villa Bambu, also known as VL BAM, is a 7-bedroom villa located in Montego Bay within minutes of the beach and shopping. Surrounded by sprawling green lawns, this hillside villa on 9 acres enjoys constant trade winds and spectacular ocean views.

Jamaican marble arches frame the windows, which open to lush landscaping. Old, salmon-colored brick comprises the walkways, which connect the bedrooms, living and dining pavilions, and pool. The 40-ft. entrance foyer has a spiral stairway in a natural stone tower. The stairway leads to the main level. An additional garden path entrance allows guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility to avoid all stairs.

The airy, octagon-shaped great room features a high ceiling and comfortable furnishings. The homeowner's fine art collection adorns the rooms. The family room has a handsome granite bar, mini-fridge, and 52-inch flat screen TV. Dining areas are located inside and outside in the open-air pavilion, which has an ocean view.

The large master suite features a furnished veranda, a 4-poster king-size bed, 2 dressing rooms, 2 private bathrooms, a flat screen TV, and a connecting study. The second bedroom has a 4-poster king-size bed, opens to the poolside walkway, and connects to an adjacent room. This room has 2 matching curtained alcoves, which hold 4 bunk beds, and a half-bathroom. The door between these rooms can be locked for privacy.

The fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed and opens to the covered walkway on the south side of the pool. The fifth and sixth bedrooms are situated side by side in the north wing. These bedrooms each have 2 double beds and an ensuite Travertine marble bathroom with a walk-in shower. The seventh bedroom in located in the cottage situated in the garden, below the Breakfast Terrace and has a queen-size bed with ensuite shower room, plus extra sleeping area with a double bed for up to 2 children under 8yrs (shares air conditioning with main bedroom), and an outdoor bath tub and terrace.

With handicap access in mind, a separate entrance designed specially for guests in wheel chairs features a ramp to a level entrance to the villa, avoiding all stairs. The pool features a broad 4" deep wheel chair platform as well. This shallow water platform is also a thoughtful, safe pool area for toddlers.

Across the lawn area child’s playhouse and 2 tree houses. This villa, also comes with Apple TV, an Xbox, WiFi, and complimentary overseas phone calls.

Villa Bambu, or VL BAM, comes with house cleaning services. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.

* Note - Villa Bambu is home to three affectionate Mastiff pups. At your preference, they may be allowed to roam the grounds and come in to play with the guests or be kept in their large, open-air kennel. Tryall Club membership is guaranteed for guests travelling through November 30, 2023.
