With dazzling sunset views over the ocean and easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants, this is a fine choice for an island getaway.

Inside, this property is all about island luxuries. Warm wood tones, comfortable furnishings, and ocean décor all combine to create a tranquil, pleasant stay. An open-plan design takes advantage of the island’s trade winds, blowing in through the doors and windows facing those stunning ocean views.

Perched in the hills above Rendezvous Bay, Villa Chase the Sun enjoys an excellent location close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The bustling village of Cruz Bay is just a few minutes away by car, while the pristine North Shore beaches are only a little bit further. Caribbean vacations don’t come much better than this.

Living Spaces: In typical Caribbean fashion, the interior great room features an open plan design. Combining the living room, dining area, and kitchen, it’s a comfortable heart of the home.

The living room includes a soft L-shaped lounge in front of a 42” flat-screen TV. There’s also a quality sound system, letting you sink in and relax to your favorite music while inside. A lower level family room has even more sofas, another TV, and also a pool table.

Kitchen and Dining Room: The well-appointed kitchen at Villa Chase the Sun has all the modern appliances you could need during your vacation. Decked out in warm wooden panels, there’s also a large island with stools where you can enjoy a morning espresso or afternoon cocktail.

Next to the kitchen is the dining room table with seating for up to eight guests. It’s an ideal space to come together with family and friends over a meal, or even a post-dinner game night.

Bedrooms: There are 4 bedrooms in Villa Chase the Sun, each with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom also offers ocean views, letting you wake up each morning to the sounds and sight of the sparkling Caribbean.

There are two master suites on either side of the main great room, and two on either side of the lower-level great room. Spread across the two levels and on either side of the home, each bedroom provides peace, quiet, and privacy.

Outdoor Features: Entertaining guests is easy in the outdoor areas at Villa Chase the Sun. You could host a sunset cocktail hour on the outdoor sofas, or even an island-style cookout with the villa’s gas grill. There’s also an outdoor dining table for dinners under the stars.

The swimming pool is an inviting spot to lounge about all day, with sunbeds lining the water for basking in the island rays. An iPod hook-up and poolside speakers can quickly turn any relaxing swim into a Caribbean pool party.

Another deck on the lower level is shaded, an ideal spot to retreat to for a relaxing read or an after-dinner drink. When the open ocean calls, the beach at Great Cruz Bay is just a few minutes away by car. The North Shore is only a little bit further, home to some of the most stunning beaches in the Caribbean.

Amenities: With a suite of high-end amenities at Villa Chase the Sun, you’ll want for nothing during your stay. This villa also comes with high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, air-conditioning, and a washer and dryer.

Villa Chase the Sun in St. John comes with a mid-week house cleaning service – contact your villa specialist for more details. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
