The St Barth Bucket Regatta is held each year in March. For the owners of classic sailing vessels more than 100 feet long, it is the signature event of the regatta season. For more details about the event, read about the history of the St Barths Bucket Regatta.
The 2011 St. Barths Bucket begins today with a welcome party under the marquee at the Quay and runs through Sunday with the culminating cocktail party and awards ceremony. A competition that embraces the fun of sailing, the St. Barths Bucket is an internationally known and loved event that draws some of the finest yachts from around the world.

This three-bedroom villa is located hillside over Gustavia Harbor, so you can watch the excitement from the comfort of your private St. Barths villa. After a glorious day of taking in the races, enjoy dinner at one of Gustavia’s exquisite restaurants and enjoy the atmosphere of St. Barths during the Bucket.

9:00 am Registration opens under the marquee at the Quay.
5:00 – 7:00 pm Skipper’s meeting: Location to be announced. Up to (4) representatives per yacht, must include Safety Tactician, Racing Tactician, and Captain.
7:00 – 9:00 pm Fleet Welcome Party under the marquee at the Quay.
7:00 – 9:00 pm Owner’s Welcome Party, location TBD.
Friday, March 25
8:30 am Fleet captain/ tactician briefing.
11:30 am First Gun/First Race – “Around the Island Race”.
4:00 pm Air show over Shell Beach
7:00 – 9:00 pm Fleet Open House: Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served aboard the yachts, stern to at the quay. Each yacht is encouraged to share their best libation and fare with the other yacht owners, crews and local dignitaries. Invitations will be distributed to each Yacht Owner for distribution to his crew and guests for Open House access.
Saturday, March 26
8:30 am Fleet captain/ tactician briefing at the Quay.
11:30 am First Gun/Second Race – “The Straightened Wiggly Course”.
4:00 pm Air show over Shell Beach
8:00 pm Bucket Bash – Cocktails, dinner, music & dancing; under the marquee at the Quay.
Sunday, March 27
8:30 am Fleet captain/ tactician briefing at the Quay.
11:30 am First Gun/Third Race – “The Wrong Way Around”.
4:00 pm Air show over Shell Beach
7:00 pm Awards Presentation and Cocktail Party at the Quay.
